As a service to our members we are organizing Bulk Purchase #2 from Home Depot if enough of us are interested to make up truck loads. Delivery would be Friday, June 6 and would be available for you to pick up outside the FGS nursery at the end of Row V that Friday-Sunday (coincides with June 7 All Park Clean Up Day).

We are improving the bulk purchase program based on our experience with the first order done in April. Specifically, we have added more materials (notably sand, gravel, brick and cinder block) and have extended the period for you to consider participation by a week.

If you are interested in participating, please print out the enclosed order form and mail it with a check made out to FGS to our post office box by May 29. Please note that checks will not be cashed until delivery, and will be returned if there isn’t enough interest to make up a truck load.

Finally, we anticipate this will be the last bulk order for summer – the next would be for Fall to prepare gardens for winter e.g., mulch, burlap and the like. Please let us know if you think we should offer an additional bulk purchase opportunity between June and Fall.
