The Fenway Garden Society, stewards of the Fenway Victory Gardens, is committed to finding ways the whole community can grow. We are truly fortunate to have seven acres in the heart of Boston's bustling Fenway neighborhood in which to do it.
And we understand that this privilege comes with a big responsibility.
We know that, the wisdom of Candide notwithstanding, we can't simply "tend our own garden". But then gardens have always been at the heart of communities, and community at the heart of gardening.
That's why educational programming and community events free and open to the whole community are so central to our mission of stewardship of this cherished resource we are so fortunate to share.
As we approach our seventieth year as America's oldest continuously operating original World War II Victory Gardens, we want to be sure to pay forward our extraordinary legacy of community growth.
Your tax-deductable contribution will help us:
- Guarantee that park infrastructure is maintained and improved, with an emphasis on universal design;
- Provide for proper on-going care of park trees and allow for new plantings;
- Ensure quality educational programming and events remain free for the entire community;
- Grow our endowment so that future generations can be assured a clean, healthy, and well-maintained
park.
And it's easier than ever to give. Simply click the "donate" button below (or on the sidebar) to use paypal, a safe and secure method of giving:
