2012 Calendar of Events FGS invites all members and the wider community to the following events. All programming and events are free and open to the public. It's still early in the year, so check back often - we'll be adding details on programming and events! Community Participation Days Community Participation Days are opportunities for gardeners and members of the wider community to come together to address the challenges of maintaining our seven acres. Tasks can be as varied as repairs of the irrigation system and turning compost to building gates and mending fences. But they are also great opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new ones, share knowledge, insights and experience. And, hey, the coffee and doughnuts are on us! All Community Participation Days are from 9 a.m. to noon. (But jump in whenever you can get to the gardens!) And join us for free munchies at Lansdowne Pub afterward!
