Make sure your fence in within guidelines  - Some gardeners are not reading the rules and putting up expensive fences that must be taken down at once.  Don't get caught in this trap!

Official Rules and Regulation on Fencing:

1. Colors: natural wood, stained/painted DARK green, DARK brown, or black ONLY
2. Fences: open wire/chain link, 4' requirement, 2' from asphalt/stone dust paths
3. Gates: to open in from pathway, 4' maximum
4. Fence posts/gate posts: uniform, 4 ½' maximum
5. Trellises, entryways and arbors (2 open, 2 supporting sides): 5' maximum            
6. Tarps/umbrellas: to be closed when not in use and at the end of the day
7. NOT ALLOWED

a.       Indoor-style furnishings

b.       Decks

c.        Solid gates/roofing

d.       Concrete or asphalt foundations or pavement

e.        Chicken wire, barbed/razor wire

f.        Hardware cloth fences/gates
